We all need friends and we are all someone’s friends. What are some qualities of a good friend?

I think a good friend shouldn’t be too selfish. He or she should look about your feelings. For example, if he or she want your company but you decline it because you’re busy preparing a big exam. However, they mad with you and refuse to mingle with you althought you told them the reason you can’t accompany him or her. I think it’s not a quality a good friend should have.
A friend in need is a friend indeed. I deem that a good friend can share
happiness and sorrow with each other. Friends should be available when you need them Instead of abandon you during the bad time.
When you confronted with any frustration, frisnds should encourage you to not shrink from it but to do your best. A good friend will give you hope and lend you a hand.
