“The Fringe Benefits of Failure”–J.K. Rowling’s Harvard Commencement Address
April 28th, 2012In the second last paragraph of Unit 12 “Have a Good Four Years,” where Derek C. Bok suggested the right attitude toward frustration and bewilderment, he said, “…these moments of frustration and bewilderment are often indispensable to our well-being, for they are the spurs that push mind and spirit to some new and greater conception of ourselves and the world around us.” To illustrate this idea, I presented to the class the related topic in J.K.
